Note(s)Aiming to tackle the housing crisis in Dublin city, the first part of a new public housing scheme by Dublin Corporation was completed in Crumlin South in 1940 and comprised over 1,000 homes. The second phase, Crumlin North, comprised 2,416 houses and was completed in 1945 after being delayed by WW2.
