| Note(s) | The new Military Archives is one of a series of buildings commissioned to commemorate the 1916 Rising. It comprises two sections (the first is an old hospital block which has been re-purposed while the second is new) which are separated by a folded courtyard. The use of brickwork reflects both the character of the local architecture and the building's military function. |
