Note(s) | Aras Cholmcille, located on the outer side of Derry's city walls, is within the grounds of the St Columba's Church Long Tower to the North West and is one of the earliest school buildings in Derry. Aras Chomcille was the Former Infant School and was also known as the 'Wee Nun's School'. It is now a heritage centre which gives visitors an opportunity to learn about Columb/Columba/Colmcille. |
